Toronto Raptors Tickets – Back For More?

Toronto Raptors tickets came on like gangbusters in 2006-07. The feeling around the franchise is that the Raptors are ready to win back to back Atlantic Division titles and advance past the 1st Round in the NBA Playoffs in 2007-08. That optimism comes from the rapid progressToronto has made under GM Bryan Colangelo in just one year and the fact that their GM wasn’t happy just standing pat but made some moves in the summer that should bear fruit last in the season. If everything falls into place Toronto Raptors tickets will be back on top again in 2007-08.

The Toronto Raptors – More Bite for the Buck?

Toronto Raptors ticket holders enjoyed a hot shooting team last year, ending up in the Top 10 in both three-point shots and field goal percentage. The challenge coming in is to improve on that while trying to create more power under the basket. Colangelo is looking to new Raptor Carlos Delfino to help. Delfino comes by way of Detroit where he was never able to break into the starting lineup. His biggest asset is his aggressive moves to the basket, something Toronto has been missing. The loss of Morris Peterson may have derailed Toronto but by signing Jason Kapono away from the Heat, Colangelo upgraded the position with one stroke. Kapono gives the Raptors even more accuracy from outside the paint.

In order to advance in the playoffs the Raptors will have to develop a better inside game. Right now it looks like that job will fall to Chris Bosh. While Bosh is capable of scoring from the outside, the lack of a true center will force him into being a threat inside the paint and from mid-range.Torontomay also get some help from Andrea Bargnani, their #1 Draft choice who came along nicely last season and surprised everyone in the playoffs with a solid performance.

The Outlook for Raptors Tickets

It’s all good. Torontois definitely on the upward path to being a force in the NBA. While they’ll have a tougher task in the Atlantic Division in 2007-08, they also have improved talent and a more experienced team. All that remains is for Torontoto prove that they weren’t a fluke. That should be no problem. If you don’t already have your Toronto Raptors tickets, get them now.
