2013 Pittsburgh Steelers Tickets – Season Ahead?
The Pittsburgh Steelers have been one of the steadiest franchises in the NFL, a reflection of stable management philosophy. Since winning the Super Bowl a few years back though, that stability has been tested, mostly by QB Ben Roethlisberger. Avoiding prosecution in his latest fiasco Roethlisberger has nevertheless been hit with a suspension of at least four and possibly six regular season games. That penalty could make or break the season for Steelers ticket holders. Either the Steelers will falter under the pressure or rise to the occasion and become a more complete team as a result. It’s going to be an interesting show for NFL fans and could be a trying time for fans with Pittsburgh Steelers tickets.

2010 Pittsburgh Steelers - The QB Situation
The biggest questions about the 2010 Pittsburgh Steelers begin with the quarterback position. Roethlisberger is scheduled to sit out the first six weeks of the season. During that time the Steelers toughest games look to be the Atlanta Falcons and Baltimore Ravens. Taking over at QB will be either Dennis Dixon, Charlie Batch, or Byron Leftwich, a draft day pickup. Dixon was a solid replacement when he played against the Ravens. He’s got good arm strength and mobility but is not as accomplished or experienced as Roethlisberger or Leftwich. Training camp will sort this situation out but it appears obvious that the rest of the team will have to pick up the slack until Big Ben regains the field.
2010 Steelers Tickets – The Rest of the Offense
Fans with Steelers tickets are used to seeing a good running game and they should see it again in 2010. Willie Parker is gone due to the emergence of Rashard Mendenhall, a 1st Round pick who has enough potential to be a Pro Bowl candidate. Mendenhall gained 1,100 yards in this Steelers offense last season and has the ability to break the long run. The wide receiver unit has some questions marks. Santonio Holmes left for the Jets, leaving Hines Ward and second year man Mike Wallace to be the go to guys. Pittsburgh also brought back Antwaan Randle El and will be looking to rookie Emmanuel Sanders from SMU to keep things going.
2010 Steelers Tickets – The Defense
Avoiding injury on this side of the ball is crucial to the success of the Steelers. The loss of Defensive End Aaron Smith cut deeply into the run defense of Pittsburgh, and once Troy Polamalu went down it was pretty much all over. Suddenly the Steelers defense became porous and ineffective, giving up big chunks of yardage and faltering late in games. Having these two healthy, and keeping them healthy, will make a big difference. Given the players, Defensive Coordinator Dick LeBeau can shut down any offense. The Steelers have as much talent as anyone in the NFL but need to stay healthy to make another Super Bowl run.
