Atlanta Hawks Tickets – Patience Pays Off
Atlanta Hawks tickets have been in a slow build. Over the last eight seasons the Hawks have missed the playoffs, working on assembling a roster of talent without skyscrapers of salary. You’d think the youngest team in the NBA would be looking for some veterans to balance out the roster. Head Coach Mike Wooden has said he’d like one or two older players to throw in the mix but he just can’t pass up the talent and long term potential of the lottery picks the team has earned. It looks like Atlanta has put together a complete team. The question is whether maturity comes now or next year.
The Future is Now for Atlanta Hawks Tickets
It’s been a long wait but the dust has finally settled in Atlanta. No more looking for one more piece. The Atlanta Hawks have everything they need to reach the playoffs. Whether they can break the drought depends more on coaching and chemistry than anything else. With Washington, Charlotte, and Orlando all eyeing the Southeast Division title, the Atlanta Hawks could sneak up on everyone.

The Atlanta Hawks – Ready to Soar
The 2007-08 Atlanta Hawks feature a number of players with plenty of upside. At forward, Josh Smith led the Hawks in both rebounds and blocked shots while finishing second with 16.4 points. Joe Johnson has come into his own, leading the Hawks with 25.0 points. He topped 30 points in 19 games last season and made the NBA All Star roster for the first time. Shelden Williams, the Hawks lottery pick in 2006, will join forces with Al Hortford, the 2007 lottery pick, to give Atlanta a matched set of big men in the frontcourt.
Meanwhile , in the backcourt, the Hawks just need someone to emerge from a crowded field. Speedy Claxton has been handling the duty but Atlanta would love for one of their younger players to claim the job. Hopefully that will be either Salim Stoudamire or Acie Law IV and the Hawks can deal Tyronn Lue or Anthony Johnson.
